Jim and I went to see Van Helsing Saturday night. The special effects were mostly pretty good — I say ‘mostly’ because there were a few scenes where the fx looked too campy or cartoony. Hugh Jackman looked hot *g* … the plot had a few holes, or maybe they deleted too many scenes. I guess I’ll wait for the DVD to be released to see if a few things were explained. And I thought the ending was a bit corny, but overall it was a good film. Definitely one I’ll buy.

Jessie’s in her last week of school, she graduates from Kindergarten this week. *sniff* My brother, Jeremy, will be graduating from Alabama’s Law School this Friday, so we’ll be headed to T’town to see him and my folks.

*sigh* Where does the time go?
