Firefox 1.5

Swweeeeeeet … the newest installment of Firefox is now out. I was reading over a list of changes, and I am already impressed with everything I see so far. I’ll probably upgrade mine tonight — after exporting all my extension info first of course!

One down, one more to go …

I did it. I lived through Thanksgiving. *lol* Bring on Christmas!

Jim and I spent the Thanksgiving holiday at my grandmother’s house. Jim’s mother was invited and joined in. Everyone of course loved her (she’s such a sweetie!), and kept commenting on how much Jim looked like his mom. (his brother and sister look like his dad IMO) My dad and I got into it a little bit, but that was to be expected. :?

As I had ranted on about in an earlier post, Jessie couldn’t join us this year. Of course her mother didn’t have the balls to tell her that straight out. Jessie figured it out Wednesday night and was very upset, and feeling very left out. :( (one thing I had been trying to avoid, but her mother had other ideas in mind)

We picked her up that night at Jim’s ex’s house. I had been telling her all week that Friday was “shopping day” so she perked up a bit when I reminded her of that. She and I left early Friday morning with my mother and brother to hit the Galleria. I did pretty well, but everything I bought was for Jessie. LOL! She needed some new winter outfits, and I had found some jeans for a good price and stocked up. I had also given Jessie “mad money” (what my grandmother calls spending or ‘free’ cash) to spend on a toy if she’s good. She picked up an easel/chalkboard combo set and a play dough car-making set. That’s my girl, ever the artist. :D

It was pretty fun. We got in late that evening. Jim had gone golfing, so Jessie and I vegged out and watched movies for the rest of the night.

It’s now Saturday night, most of the family has gone home, and I’m feeling exhausted. I’ll most likely do a little work tomorrow, as we have new clients in town Monday morning. (Who in the Hell thought that would be a good idea?)

Oooops … almost forgot: I had bought some music software a while back and am now working on a couple of things. I layed down a few tracks Saturday night, and should have a song for y’all to download soon.

I’m doing a Christmas album, so it’s nothing spectacular. I actually started it for Jessie. She likes to hear me sing and asked me to do some Christmas songs for her. :)

I’m still working on the other tracks/album, dunno when I’ll be finishing them. (sorry)

I’ll post a preview when it’s up on my new hosting.

In a way, I needed to have *something* recorded soon. There’s been advertisements for Beauty and the Beast auditions, and I’m thinking of trying out and may need some samples (like a portfolio I guess).

Sony, Sony, Why you buggin’?

Maybe because you used copyrighted software in your DRM, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

How’s that crow taste? Yummmmm, just like Mamma used to make.

Pugnae was kind enough to pass this gem on to me; and he reminded me that this has happened before … a company outspoken against piracy caught using pirated software — anyone remember who it was?

Anyone?

Anyone?

Bueller?
