World of Warcraft
Or WarCrack, as it may also be known.
I saw this on LJ earlier today and thought I’d snag a copy to post here for you WoW addicts.

On a whim, I had decided to look up a dj I’d been listening to for a while: mc chris. A friend of mine turned me on to him a few years back with a song featured on a set of Star Wars related mix tracks. One that rang my proverbial bell was mc chris’ “Fette’s Vette.”
Since then, I’ve heard him on Adult Swim’s Sealab 2021 and Aqua Teen Hunger Force (also another fave of mine!), and on various tracks via web radio.
Anyways, when I Googled him, one of the first results was his website … then one of his blogs, which mentioned that he’s running in the Underground artist category on Spin Magazine’s Band of Year contest via their website.
So if you’re a fan, give our fave 10-year dj a hand. *g*
Hey, if you’re not a fan … vote for him anways, then go check out his website. He’s got his first album available for download.
You’ll find this funny … I did.

Um, thought about posting an update … don’t feel like doing that just yet. A lot has been going on, but I’ll catch y’all up later when I’m feeling more like me.
In the meantime, a quick funny:
And yet I was trying to pick the most honest and “least gothic” answers:
| You Are Amy Lee! |
![]() Gothy, expressive, woman-in-pain Who looks damn good in a corset “When you cried I’d wipe away all of your tears When you’d scream I’d fight away all of your fears” |
Ok … first of all: I don’t do corsets — I have enough trouble breathing on my own, thanks. Secondly, people have always called me ‘goth’ because I wear a lot of black … I wear a lot of black because I think I look good in it. (but wearing that label has come in handy occasionally … that’s another story for another time) Third: I’m a woman in pain because I have a painful past, anger issues, and 31 years of pent-up resentment — I am Oprah Winfrey’s proverbial wet dream.
But — I do love that song.

My body’s punishing me. My insides feel like they’ve been through a meat grinder … repeatedly. I woke up this morning clutching my stomach, rolling in absolute agony. Like I said, my body’s punishing me.
My crime: my dumb ass decided to eat chilli cheese fries with extra grease last night. And now I’m paying the price. I’ve cramped, I’ve cried, I’ve thrown up, and a few other more colorful and more disgusting things.
To quote Danny Glover, “I’m getting too old for this shit.”

Of course it hits me that no one else would see the humor (pun) in the title of this post unless you’re a Bouncing Souls fan — that’s my fav song (and album) of theirs, followed only closely by “Olé” (also on that album), and I so love puns … but I digress …
I got a wild bur in my fur this weekend so I decided to revamp my old recipes website … then about 15 minutes into it, I changed my mind and decided that porting it to Wordpress would be easier and I could get rid of the horrid/outdated HTML. (I love XHTML/CSS)
What can I say? I like Wordpress. And it easily fit my need … again …
Besides, now I can let friends and family post their own recipes, and it now has RSS feeds and the ability to skin/theme, and so on and so forth …
Ancient wisdom on the fly …
I was browsing the WP Theme Browser looking for layout ideas and saw a post with some “ancient wisdom” from my favorite padre …
Be A Kid Again
1. Do a cartwheel.
2. Sing into your hairbrush.
3. Walk barefoot in wet grass.
4. Play a song you like really loud, over and over.
5. Dot all your “i”s with smiley faces.
6. Read the funnies. Throw the rest of the paper away.
7. Dunk your cookies.
8. Play a game where you make up the rules as you go along.
9. Step carefully over sidewalk cracks.
10. Change into some play clothes.
11. Try to get someone to trade you a better sandwich.
12. Eat ice cream for breakfast.
13. Kiss a frog, just in case.
14. Blow the wrapper off a straw.
15. Have someone read you a story.
16. Find some pretty stones and save them.
17. Wear your favorite shirt with you favorite pants even if they don’t match.
18. Take a running jump over a big puddle.
19. Get someone to buy you something you really don’t need.
20. Hide your vegetables under your napkin.
21. Stay up past your bedtime.
22. Eat dessert first.
23. Fuss a little, then take a nap.
24. Wear red gym shoes.
25. Put way too much sugar on your cereal.
26. Make cool screeching noises every time you turn a corner.
27. Giggle a lot for no reason.
28. Give yourself a gold star for everything you do today.
Ancient wisdom I just made up. . .
Okay,
Father Luke
Short and sweet.

I’ve been out of it sort of for the last few days. Things at work are weird for reasons I don’t want to go into right now because I’m still far too pissed off to think (or write) clearly about it. Plus I’ve been sick … I don’t know what from though, but I’m having an allergic reaction to something. My face, upper arms, and chest are covered in red splotches; and I’m having headaches from Hades.
And the topper:
I’m out of chocolate, potato chips, and alcohol — and I’m PMS’ing.
I feel like this today:
Jim’s a good man for putting up with me *smile*

I had forgotten to post about this …
I was all excited about it Thursday night and had meant to post about it Friday, but chaos ensued and I forgot all about it until I mentioned it in passing to someone just now and they’re all “You didn’t tell me that!”
But I digress …
I’m a UMO Reviewer. I dunno if that scores me any coolness/geekness points with you lot, LOL. But it’s scored points with Jim, because he’s helping me pick which Firefox extensions to review first, ROFL!
So I help review Mozilla, Firefox, Thunderbird, etc. extensions and themes, and moderate the comments.
I like it so far.
Oh, one good thing

My darling baby brother emailed me last week to ask me help him setup his campaign site. Needless to say, I’m thrilled that he asked me.
He’s a good kid, and even though I may not agree with his views, I had wanted to be able to help him out some way. And now I can.
(And hey, it will look good on a resume once he’s in office and famous
)
