Comments on: How the vi editor would seem if it has been made by Microsoft

This is my digital sandbox and proverbial playground. I am a web designer living in Birmingham, Alabama. I'm an avid gamer, a former editor for Addons.Mozilla.Org, and spend a good deal of my time in the WordPress community. I am also an active Soldiers' Angels member and a Community Team Leader for Soldiers' Angels in Alabama. I am all this and much more, but in short I am: a web designer, a geek, a gamer and an aspiring super mom.

Hrrrrmmmm! I'll have to check out gVim. I used to use vi a lot years ago and loved how easy it was to pick up and use.

I'm an UltraEdit fan myself, but also love console editors. I have an old OLD console app, Semware Editor, that I use from time to time because it has a lot of the same functionality as UE, but loads faster.

I LOVE vi, even have gVim for the PC to replace <strike>note</strike>suckpad, wordpad, etc.

It may take a while to learn most of its awesome features, but then it is an unbelievably, powerful editor!
