Local Woman Sues Starbucks because of “Hot Coffee”
A local woman is suing Starbucks for $50,000 because she claims her coffee was too hot.
Rhonda Lusco claims she was burned by coffee she purchased at a Starbucks on Highway 280.
Lusco says she allowed the coffee an adequate amount of time to cool, but when some of the beverage spilled on her stomach it caused second degree burns that required medical treatment.
Lusco is seeking 50 thousand dollars in damages because she claims Starbucks made the product unreasonably dangerous to the consumer.
Hey, stupid, it’s coffee … it’s SUPPOSED to be HOT!
