Obama’s a cheap date

Courtesy of Wade on Birmingham and The Birmingham News, Barack Obama is back in Alabama again. He will be in Huntsville today and Birmingham tonight for fundraising events for his campaign.
Now what surprises me is that you can attend the lunchtime affairs in Rocket City for anywhere from $1000 to $2300. (Yikes! That’d better be some good soup!) But dinner in Birmingham will only cost you $25. Yup, less than a tank of gas, that Obama is a cheap date for the Magic City.
I won’t be going, no sir-ee Bob; but I would be interested in hearing real answers to key issues rather than the tired rhetoric that’s currently posted to his website. Don’t tell me what you think I want to hear, tell me what you actually PLAN to do about the problems in this country — because brother, you haven’t said anything to impress me YET!

From what I’ve read, Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii, thereby fulfilling the prerequisite to which you referred. I’m sure Republicans are fully aware of his heritage and his religion (as am I). Given that my brother and his lovely wife are Obama supporters, as are several other loved ones and friends, I’ve been given plenty of Obama-related material via email, etc.
… doesn’t sway my vote though. ;P

* be a natural-born citizen of the United States
* be at least 35 years of age
* have been a resident of the United States for at least 14 years
I would imagine that when he submitted his Statement of Candidacy form, he would have to show proof of the above.

I have lived in Hawaii 15 years. My Caucasian daughter-in-law and both of her aged parents were born in Honolulu as were our two grand-sons. ALL of us have birth certificates of American birth. I read that Barack Hussein Obama was born in Waikiki, which is part of Honolulu County, but there is NO HOSPITAL in Waikiki. DOES BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA HAVE A BIRTH CERTIFICATE INDICATING HE IS AMERICAN-BORN AS REQUIRED BY OUR CONSTITUTION? AND HAS HE BEEN AN AMERICAN RESIDENT FOR THE PAST 14 YEARS ALSO AS REQUIRED BY OUR CONSTITUTION?

Our country is surely headed in the wrong direction if the “polite pc” police (aka our spineless republican party) are afraid of offending the Obama machine. Geoge Soros is surely buying a pres. with this extreme-liberal candidate. Good manners prevent me from saying what I really want to do to these guys.
