Terms of Use

These “free” themes are provided for you to use and modify to your every liking. My only request is that if you use my theme, please leave my name and link as credit. This is considered a courtesy. Feel free to add a “modified by” or a similar statement making known that you did all of the additional work. :)

Claiming someone else’s work as your own is considered stealing — yes, even if you modified it a little, changed all the colors, swapped out the images, etc. All any real web designer has to do is look at the source code and see their work. This is called copyright infringement, and I take that very seriously (as do many web hosts and website providers so keep that in mind!).

If you’ve used one of my designs as your template and would like to show me your work, please do! I love to see what others have done with my themes! :)

Themes for WordPress 2.5+

  • Translucent Dream: A dark theme for WordPress 2.1+. Includes Gravatar support for WP 2.5 down to 2.1. “Before the Storm” header image courtesy of MoodFlow.com. Preview | Download

Note: The 2.1/2.3 will work for 2.5, but a few features may be missing!

Themes for WordPress 2.1+ (2.3+ recommended!)

  • Twilight Crown: This fun theme is modeled after the ‘Dimensions’ Joomla template and features its header images (origin unknown). It also features a transparent header section and uses Aaron Robbins‘ Time Background Function to rotate the header images based on your webserver’s time. (see header.php for notes on how to adjust this!) Preview | Download
  • What So Proudly We Hail: This military-inspired theme is for WordPress 2.1+ (works best for 2.3+) and features a stylized eagle header image by ladyann of StockXpert, and Military Icons courtesy of Xnap (via deviantART). Background pattern is also my work. Preview | Download
  • Who Needs the Mall? This fun theme for WordPress 2.1+ (works best for 2.3+) was inspired by my love of online shopping (with the help of Velusariot’s illustration for the header).   • So Blue without You: a theme for WordPress 2.1+ (works best for 2.3+). It’s a bit minimal as far as images go, and very blue! ;). Preview | Download
  • Blood Orchid: a theme for WordPress 2.1+ (works best for 2.3+) and features an Amazonian orchid (taken by kertis, via StockXpert). Overall theme design inspired by and based on Artica, by iFrame. Preview | Download
  • Jim’s Monkey: A pretty simple theme, named in honor of my husband. It features a mischievious looking monkey at the top. Preview | Download
