These are entries related to or containing references to NyQuil -- what became known to me in my college days as the "Green Death" for the way it tasted and the way it made me feel. I even wrote a song about it.
NyQuil is produced by the Vicks company. It is designed to help relieve many symptoms of the common cold. Because all of the different types medications that make up NyQuil it can have sedating and/or hypnotics side effects. It's usually supposed to be taken at night, just before bedtime -- in college, my friends used it to get drunk. A VERY lousy way to get drunk if you ask me! Booze is cheaper in the long run, just get an older friend to buy you some beer ... seriously!
In my NyQuil-induced stupor, I almost forgot to post this. Today’s funny bit comes from someone y’all may recognize from a recent Geico commercial — Brandon Hardesty. I’ve been a fan of his works for a few years now, and this is one of my favorite videos he’s released on YouTube:
